We recently had a repeat client come to us with a 2013 Jeep Rubicon. He had worked with us several times before so he knew that we were well suited to meet all of his needs for his new toy. He had a laundry list of things that he wanted:
- Navigation
- Bluetooth
- Backup Camera
- DVD video
- iPod Integration
- And above all, great sound
He also requested that we keep the installation as stealthy as possible since he often drives around with the top off.
We installed an Alpine INE-W927 navigation/Bluetooth/DVD player in the dash. This also gave him iPod functionality and connected seamlessly to an Alpine HCE-117D Backup camera on the license plate frame.
To achieve the sound quality that he wanted, we installed JL Audio C2 Series component speakers in the front and rear locations. A Kicker ZX700-5 5 channel amp supplied power to these speakers as well as a JL Audio 10W3v3 10″ subwoofer. We mounted the sub in a custom fiberglass enclosure molded up against the wheel well.
The end result is an amazing sound system in a Jeep that is nearly invisible except for the subwoofer in the rear. The client was extremely happy with the sound and the installation. At Progressive Audio in Medford, we specialize in Jeeps! If you would like to learn about one of our Jeep audio upgrades, please give us a call, stop in or Contact Us today!
